La nuit s'était soudain remplie d'étoiles. Elles s'étaient glissées absolument partout, jusque dans le reflet du petit lac.

*** Aujourd'hui on va écouter "Roll and go" de The Dreadnoughts, parce que sur la pochette de l'album il y a un ciel étoilé et un lac. Bon ok le lac est sans doute un océan vu les thématiques du groupe et la présence d'un phare, mais l'idée est là quoi. Et puis les montagnards c'est des marins d'eau dure, comme dirait Dominique Potard dans "Le Port de la Mer de Glace". ***

Union Canal on this rather splendid Spring evening. Still light! And warm! What a difference to the winter months.

Lot of people walking, jogging and cycling the towpath, or just sitting nearby , enjoying it, even saw our new swan couple building up their nest, fingers crossed for cygnets again (been a couple of years since we lost the previous breeding pair on this stretch of canal)
