He usado varias aplicaciones estilo Read It Later, desde Wallabag a Pocket y siempre me han agobiado y he terminado dejando de usarlas.
Veo que esto le ha pasado a más gente, aquí un post sobre el tema.
La moraleja sería que tenemos que ver la aplicación como un rio, no como un cubo. ¿Pero es esto suficiente? Lo intentaré y a ver que resultado me da.

I'm curious to hear what others are #SelfHosting! Here's my current setup:
Hardware & OS
Infrastructure & Networking
Security & Monitoring
Authentication & Identity Management
Productivity & Personal Tools
Notifications & Development Workflow
Accessibility Focus ️
Accessibility heavily influences my choices—I use a screen reader full-time (#ScreenReader), so I prioritize services usable without sight (#InclusiveDesign, #DigitalAccessibility). Always open to discussing accessibility experiences or recommendations!
I've also experimented with:
I don't really have a media collection, so no Plex or Jellyfin here (#MediaServer)—but I'm always open to suggestions! I've gotten a bit addicted to exploring new self-hosted services!
What's your setup like? Any cool services you'd recommend I try?

I became disillusioned with Pocket after they discontinued social sharing of saved articles. Now I'm just after migrating to Wallabag for my article reading. It's actually remarkably great.
It has full-text search out of the box, and pretty much all the same features as Pocket premium, but doesn't trap you in Yet Another Subscription. It does imports from major bookmarking players and browser bookmarks, and also has a decent API.

If you're looking for an Omnivore alternative, don't forget that the Omnivore team published a blog post with our solution as a great option to replace it https://blog.omnivore.app/p/details-on-omnivore-shutting-down
We have an Omnivore import system.
You can selfhost wallabag on your own webserver and you can also subscribe to https://www.wallabag.it/en (11€ / year, or 30€ if you us).

I was trying to figure out an alternative #Readitlater app after Omnivore decided to shut down. #selfhosted #Omnivore today, it was bit of a pain, but I have a working website now. Also rebuilt the Omnivore #obsidian plugin to point to my server. Now I've to figure out the broken part and how to handle data redundancy.
I’m looking for another bookmarking/save later service. Currently playing around with Hoarder but not set on it.
What does everyone think about these ones? Which one should I pick?
Whatever one you pick, let me know why in the comments. I’d like to know pros/cons.
Please BOOST for a wider audience and results.
I'm playing around with #ReadItLater later services, currently #Pocket and #Instapaper, and while there are things that instapaper manages to parse better than pocket, for the link from here pocket gave me full article, and instapaper the "please log in" version.
What #ReadItLater , #RSS , and #bookmarks apps/services are you using?
"Our interface may be less pretty, OK. But our values are stonger."
Los de @wallabag sí que saben.
Hi @wallabag, I did some comparison and you people have build an interesting piece of software with a decent price for the hosted service.
What I could not find was whether there is support for:
- PDF highlighting and annotation
- an overview of highlights per article
- full-text search across all articles
If that functionality is not included, is that something that is on the roadmap?
Hey @european_alternatives, I didn’t found a category at your site, but I think @wallabag is an interesting European Alternative #ReadItLater app you might want to add your site.
Der Read-it-Later-Dienst #Omnivore wurde übernommen. Ab 15. November, also in knapp zwei Wochen, werden die Daten der Bestandsnutzer gelöscht, sofern diese nicht vorher exportiert werden:

Mein Tipp für eine freie und unabhängige Alternative:
With the news that @omnivore is merging into #ElvenLabs, a company that I have never heard of before, it looks like #Obsidian have launched their new web clipper at the right time.
While I have loved using #Omnivore, having #AI read articles to me really does not appeal.
The amazing #Omnivore app needs a new maintainer and sponsors after two core team members got hired away. Any takers?
I'm also looking for anyone who has experience #selfhosting the app.
