Ugh, Pierce Brown has ruined me with the Red Rising book series. I finished the 6th book a few weeks ago and can’t seem to get into any other books because I want to stay in the Red Rising universe. I know there’s supposed to be the final book out later this year, but that’s going to take soooo looong.

I needed a new #book to read, so inspired by my recent #BoardGame purchase of #RedRising, I decided to start the series by the same name.

I'm not far into it, but it's already cool to recognize character names from the cards.

I'm a huge Stonemaier Games fan but I've never seen a ton of good things about #RedRising

It was recently on sale for $11, so why not grab it? I just played my first #solo #game and I'm not sure what to think.

At the beginning of the game, I was impressed with the give and take of the cards, covering up the columns like a sister to solitaire. Pair that with the color interactions and I was sold.

But half way thru, I got my hand I wanted and then kind of did nothing till game ended?

I finished Red Rising by Pierce Brown. Really fun read. Jumping into the next book, Golden Sun. The full cast audiobook by GraphicAudio really immerses you into the world so happy they did three of the books. #books #redrising

Started #reading the #novel #Lightbringer by #PierceBrown last week and I'm at the last part. It's basically the only novel series, I still stick to.

My main problem with ongoing series is that I forget most of the content between the release dates. Same goes for the #RedRising stories nowaydays. Lightbringer was released last year, there's no release year for the next novel, yet.

#RedRising collect cards that synergise in your hand and try to avoid your opponents doing the same. Hard to figure out what is best but we all wanted to play again.

#Planetfall tableau building game that didn’t seem to have much depth really, or maybe I just picked the right thing for an easy win.

Irgendwie mag ich #RedRising auch wenn die Kartenauslage nicht vor Übersichtlichkeit glänzt. Selbst zu viert kurzweilig, ähnlich wie bei Fantastische Reiche & Co spielt natürlich das Kartenglück eine gehörige Rolle, das stört mich hier aber ebenfalls nicht bzw. gehört einfach dazu. #Brettspiele
