Raising your kids to love animals is great until your 4yo lets your cat out and then is presented with the sight of said cat straight up murderexploding a bird right in front of them within seconds of leaving the house

Shall I talk abut visually impactful #ttrpg design? The kind of games you can bring to the table and passers-by will turn their heads and ask "What are *they* playing?" I think these are important for one reason: engagement
There are three games I own which are very visually striking: #RestInPieces #Fiasco (2nd Ed) and #JiangShi. All of them have artifacts which colourfully spread out over the table and look more like boardgames to the casual observer.
A number of the games I have been taking to #ttrpg conventions lately have been so focused that they come in well under the time allotted to the session. For example, #HeckinGoodDoggos plays in about 2 hours, while #RestInPieces easily fits into 1 hour!
As a result, I have been offering double-episode sessions of these games, where the players play once, then have a break and come back to play again with the same PCs. I like how this lets you explore different aspects of the setting and PCs
Fifth & final #ConDensed Game and I broke out #RestInPieces which is best described as "The Young Ones live with the Grim Reaper and play Jenga for their lives"
Next weekend is #ConDensed in Northampton! I will be offering #HeckinGoodDoggos #Abyss #RestInPieces #TroubleMakers and #VoxPopuli so two I created versus three I backed.
