Quite possibly the best documentary about music / art / society I have ever seen. The year of 1971 was more of a watershed moment than I had imagined: things were changing irrevocably (improving & falling apart) and the world has never been the same since. Art no longer reflects reality, it steers it and redirects it.

If society, art, and humanity intrigues you, watch this. You will be rewarded.

Very highly recommended.

The "LookAway" documentary was premiered a little over two years ago, and it is painful to realize that whenever men are in charge, #abuse of women and underage girls often/usually ensues. The #RockNRoll scene is unfortunately no exception.

And this disgraceful series of events finally colours our perception of musicians and producers we used to like.

This one is for all the #punks who pick this up on their timeline. Some kind soul posted classic #Canadian #punk #rockumentary #HardCoreLogo on YouTube for #free. Get while it lasts.

"Say they make six G's... you know, and they take my fifteen percent. The band, the food, the gas, hotel... uh... four guys, 3000 miles, five nights. At this point, you do it for love." - Mulligan, Manager Hard Core Logo
