More from this hut creation.
The rooftop lookout was left removable, the ladder either provides access or is just leaning against the hut.
The door, like on all my hut kits, opens on a hinge. Ork for scale.

Regret of passing
More angles of the Messerschmitt Bf 109.
The fire was created with 3 layers of cotton; the first dyed red, that was covered with a layer of orange, and then a layer of grey.
Leaving gaps or thin areas in each layer lets the lower colour show through and gives the final impression of the fire glowing through the smoke.
You don't really get how big those walkers are until you see one on a foggy day.
@Devorppa Hey Man, thanks for playing.
I absolutely agree with your logic here, but I think this could count as marginally "exotic". I use that term because this is the last production version of the Messerschmitt Bf 109, the K-4. It has refinements that were differences in shape of areas some people look to to ID.
Need to do a P-51, but I need to perfect a natural aluminium finish before considering doing a Mustang the justice it deserves.
If you've read this far, thanks for reading my info-dump. Regards.

More angles of this Trench diorama.
A partially filled sandbag, broken footboard and even the coffee rings next to the radio, all tell a little part of the story of this corner of a trench.
Didn't get it all done this weekend. Wanted to get the fuselage halves together, but I made a lot of progress.
The ruler is in millimetres.

More of the HAW-206 Prototype.
As with all the vehicles in my army/collection, I did add battle-damage. With the reclaimed/repaired nature of my army's background, a little wear'n'tear is expected.
However, the tank is fully operational and now includes a reprogrammed Necron scarab for ongoing repairs.
More angles of this angular Quake Fiend.
This model also got a printed 2D floor texture for a base.
Some more of the repaired Spitfire model.
In re-painting the model I stuck to the same colours and patterns, however the original transfers could not be saved, and so I had to freehand all the markings as well.
More Cacodemon.
I printed off a floor texture from Doom to stick on the base for the full 2D experience.
Seven part cockpit jazzed up with some scratch-built seat harnesses. In 53 years, kit manufacturers have struggled to fill this little void. Tamiya offer a ridiculous decal. Other kits, photo-etched copper or brass. These are difficult to make look natural.
I've used copper wire and masking tape. Not perfect, but it satisfies the casual glance. This assembly is approximately 35mm long.

Niche complaint.
Sometimes, kit engineers will make what should have been one part, into two or three parts under the false belief that modellers like this because it requires "more modelling".
I refute this.
Even so, this supercharger intake from Tamiya's (pretty basic) Focke-Wulf 190 D-9 kit is a good example.
This is always going to be two parts given the shape and the limitations of injection moulding, but Dragon's kit presents this bit as two halves, not this silliness. There'll still be seam elimination, but easier.
Pics.
Tamiya's two parts assembled, a pic of the real thing, my attempt at sorting the problem. This is a kit for intermediate modellers. Good shapes, few parts.

More angles of the CD City.
Including the service station on the bypass (gotta build bypasses...), and a subway that makes use of the headphone and power ports with track and a train peeking out.
UFO Abduction.
After seeing a lamp or something online, I had to make one for myself.
Mainly using some of my junk and a tiny (1:160) cow I had on hand.
With a battery inside, you can place the top half in one of 2 positions and either light the tractor beam or the red cockpit lights.
Helmet.
I cast this 1:6 scale F1 helmet in carbon fibre while on a work placement from school.
While we weren't meant to be paid for the work experience placements, I got ~£50 of carbon fibre and free tickets to the practice and qualifying sessions of the Silverstone F1 race.
To think, some kids chose office work...
A bit worried to find ZOMBIES in town this morning!
(It was a hastily taken photo as I have more important things to do
