In though, the rules specifically say:

"Note that any area outside of a light source's illumination is in total darkness." - Vision, p. 84

That's how I rolled at the con, but I think this approach makes it harder to be a rogue lurking at the edge of the shadows.

Is it dangerous for the rogue to hang back in the shadows? Definitely. But could they sneak from one pool of light (the PCs) to another (belonging to rival adventurers) so they could listen/watch/backstab?

I think so.

This question came up in my con game:

Can you see INTO the circle of torchlight from OUTSIDE the circle of light?

Thinking about this in the real world: You're walking down the street in the dark. You see a street light. There's a person walking their dog and patiently waiting for them to finish their business.

You can easily see them, but they can't see you.

Running a weekly table for middle schoolers. There are 7 players, level 3 and just finished Willowby Hall. I'm looking for lots of adventure to keep everyone focused. I'm considering Borderlands from Letters from the Dark, Black Wyrm, Magical Murder Mansion, and Winter's Daughter. #shadowdark Ideas?

Jumping on the train this week & all this old school black and white line art has got me all a buzz with imagination!

I've had the printer paper out doing random doodles of swords and skeletons and proper pig-faced orcs!

I even designed a dungeon (instead of loading up , getting bored/overwhelmed scrolling through all my art packs - and then switching it off without actually achieving anything)

I can't wait to finish up our game so we can actually play!

Es gibt eine neue Version vom #ShadowDark #Charakterbogen

Optisch hat sich nicht sehr viel getan. Im Hintergrund ist es jetzt keine Scribus sondern eine Typst Datei.
Das hat den Vorteil, dass ich das Layout nur einmal erstelle und mit zwei Schriftarten erstellen kann 😃

Ein bis zwei Dinge sind noch nicht optimal und werden bei Gelegenheit noch verbessert.
