20 - Amazing adventure

The only (published) adventure I've run this last year is "The Dying Ship" for Coriolis. Premise is straight forward, bits and pieces can easily be changed, NPCs are easy to characterize and the win condition is multifaceted. Ran it using #Stoneburner which was a good fit. Can also see #Mothership being an excellent option if one doesn't want to use Coriolis system for it.

Attached is adventure's back cover.

16 - Quick to learn

Of the things I've played, or read thoroughly, this last year it would be #stoneburner

a) uses playbooks, so pick the character theme you want and you are set
b) the reference kit is decent
c) how good you are at things is a die size. Tactile and clear
d) leans a bit on the humorous and the wacky side
e) great and clear exhaustion tension mechanic in that your skill ratings (die size) step down as play progresses

11 - RPG with well supported one-shots

I'm going to rephrase this as "RPG that well supports #oneshots". That I've encountered in the last year.

#ShadowoftheWeirdWizard - waiting for the final releases before I dig in but with its pedigree I bet its one-shots will be awesome.

#Stoneburner - quick to get set up, get going and its fatigue mechanic is awesome for one-shots. Your skill is a die, after testing you step it down increasing complication risk on further tests.

3 - Most often played RPG (the last year)

"Hate" to admit it but it would probably be D&D 5e. With that group we have a back-up GM that runs their game when the primary GM is away. So Tuesday nights WILL be D&D. Second place is #BurningWheel but there we have no back-up GM so it falls behind a little. And the things I run is shorter stuffs with various systems so it doesn't rank up the same numbers. Last year my most run system is #dragonbane with #stoneburner second.

2 - Most recently played

#stoneburner. Dwarves in Space or perhaps #deeprockgalactic the TTRPG. Interesting mechanics. Your skill is a dice and after you have tested it you reduce it one step (d6->d4). Drives the PCs forward because at rest/job done ratings reset. Handles fatigue the best out of any system I've tried. Easy to pick up and teach and works really well for short campaigns.
