However, the snail is flexible in terms of its <a href="https://biologists.social/tags/ecological" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#ecological</a> requirements and can also be found in open areas. It is widespread in Central Europe and northwestern Europe and primarily requires <a href="https://biologists.social/tags/moisture" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#moisture</a>. The rear pair of tentacles is elongated and has <a href="https://biologists.social/tags/eyes" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#eyes</a> at its tips.
