Looking down a long corridor with an arched roof. There are windows on either side and skylights along the ceiling. Some ladders and tool boxes are along the side of the hallway.

Looking at a low flat yellow brick building straight on. The building has a series of arched windows along it. You can see through them to the other side. There are skylights on the roof. There is a yellow grass field in front and a blue sky with puffy clouds behind.

Looking through a window. Part of the glass reflects the blue sky outside. Inside the building is a pool of water with a window on the other side and railings on either side. The pool reflects the window.

Looking into a building with a railing, a ladder, and windows inside. Most of the frame reflects the outside where there is another railing, some trees, a blue sky with clouds, and the lake. You can see arched windows looking out on the other side of the building.

Das Bild zeigt eine beleuchtete Straßenszene bei Nacht. Im Zentrum steht ein Gebäude mit einer historisch anmutenden Fassade, die in Gelb- und Grüntönen kunstvoll angestrahlt wird. For #FensterFreitag #WindowFriday: A window at the Palo Alto Center where I saw my ophthalmologist today.

Art work by Robert Holmes, entitled Rhapsody.

A large, basic window looking out over nothing special — some trees, some vehicles, a gray sky — except for the one tree covered with white blossoms. But the eye-catching part is the statue in front of the window with three abstract figures, all in black, with arms upraised. One of the three has a foot on another one's thigh and the other leg upraised.

Not much of a view from a window in a turf house in Glaumbær, Iceland. But then again, this was probably taken in the cellar room where they used to store food. (This is from our first Iceland trip a dozen years ago so I'm not 100% sure.) I just like the balance between shadow and light in this photo.

Columbus Avenue, March 26th, 2025.

Street shooting in North Beach, San Francisco two days ago.

This is a monochrome view looking across Columbus Avenue at a three-story building that houses a full floor tattoo parlor. The second floor windows of the building are filled with larger than life photos of tattooed torsos: half naked, muscled male bodies that scream "I got to get me some of that."

On the sidewalk below, a man strides past the tattoo parlor unaware of the lovely illustrations above his head.
