I finished playing the show, the jam session was starting. I handed my bass to a friend of mine and I went outside the venue to refresh my head, accompanying a few smokers from the audience. After a bit of small talk, I continued “…and so I’m mostly playing music these days.” My interlocutor smiled and said, “oh, you play music, so cool!”
