I am extremely proud of the young people in #Serbia,who started a #marchforjustice yesterday, from #Belgrade to #NoviSad where there will be a blockade of three bridges, one bridge for 24 hrs.
They slept under the open sky last night,halfway,because local powerful people from the ruling party locked public facilities.
But that's why the citizens welcomed them along the way with tears,applause and plenty of freshly cooked food

Last night, students blocking #Serbia universities called citizens in front of national television #RTS to protest against the media darkness.National television, which we all pay for through our electricity bill, does not inform the public about the protests and attacks on students, nor about the answers to the fall of the canopy in Novi Sad, when 15 people died and two are still in serious condition, with terrible injuries.

I'm seeing a lot of weird takes on this thing.
Belgrade has crazy levels of pollution. We basically have smog. Rio Tinto are setting up shop to join the already nasty mining practices.
I don't know how well these things work, but making solar-panel station which light up (and charge your phone), and reduce all the crap in the air sounds like it's worth a shot.
Also - they work all year round.
Students and high school students in #Serbia have sent a clear message to the authorities that they will not end the blockades until their demands are met, to arrest all those responsible for the fall of the canopy of the railway station in #NoviSad on November 1st, and the killing of 15 people, as well as the arrest of all those who beat the students on blockades.
