#introduction

This is the account for queerthemarly.org - we're a #queer organisation looking to buy the premises of a beloved #Brighton #UK pub - historically one of Brighton's few #dyke bars, and also one of the few explicitly #trans friendly pubs in the area. At a time when #transphobia is on the rise we're hoping to make a sanctuary for queers and allies. Follow for more info, and our DMs are open (especially for any Brighton locals who want to get involved in the campaign).

Google DocsAllston-Brighton Community Bike RideJoin the Allston Brighton Health Collaborative, City of Boston, and Bluebikes (Lyft) for a 3.5-mile Bluebikes-only community bike ride on Sunday, April 13 at 11:00am. The route and pace are beginner friendly, particularly for folks new to biking and/or new to Bluebike-ing. We'll spend a good amount of time in the beginning going over how to use the Bluebikes and get you comfortable using them in safe environment before venturing out to the neighborhood. We will meet at the Herter Park Bluebikes station. Free Bluebikes coupons will be provided. The ride is expected to take around one hour and will end at Herter Park. Pizza will be provided after the ride. Free bike helmets are also available upon request. Detailed route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/50144638 You must register to participate.
