Marcus RimpelAn der Ardèche überschneiden sich die Verbreitungsgebiete von Südlichem und Spanischem Osterluzeifalter. Beide Arten fliegen dort im April gleichzeitig, wenn auch mit etwas verschobenen Schwerpunkten. Die Spanier sind eher später dran und noch im Mai zu finden, die Südlichen bereits ab Anfang April. Zu sehen ist hier letztere Art. Die gekrümmte Hinterleibshaltung ist typisch für die Ruhestellung.<br>

Marcus RimpelDer Gelbe Aurorafalter kommt in Südeuropa vor. Von der heimischen Art unterscheidet er sich unter anderem durch die namensgebende (leichte) Gelbfärbung, die ausgeprägteren Orange-Anteile beim Männchen und auch zum geringeren Teil bei den Weibchen und die großflächigere Musterung der Flügelunterseite. Diese wiederum ist für die hervorragende Tarnung der Falter bei geschlossenen Flügeln auf der Raupen-Nahrungspflanze verantwortlich: dem Brillenschötchen.<br>

Marcus RimpelIn zwei äußerlich nicht unterscheidbaren Arten kommt der Tintenfleck-Weißling in meiner Umgebung vor. Der auch gebräuchliche Name Senf-Weißling passt weniger gut, da die Raupen nicht an Senf oder anderen Kreuzblütlern, sondern an Schmetterlingsblütlern fressen. Dem Falter selbst ist der Name vermutlich herzlich egal.<br>

Marcus RimpelDie Gotland-Apollos haben mir 2021 viel Freude bereitet. Und 2019. Ist schön da, mit den Apollos im Flachland. Mit dem Meer im Hintergrund hat´s noch nicht geklappt, da muss ich wohl noch mal hin.<br>

Schon knapp 13 Jahre alt, gefällt mir noch immer. Die Weibchen der blauen Form des Himmelblauen Bläulings sind hier gar nicht so selten. So fast komplett blau gefärbt sehe ich sie allerdings auch nicht so oft. Sie kommen in allen Abstufungen zwischen braun und blau vor.<br>

Marcus RimpelMit etwas Glück findet man die ruhenden Falter schon abends und kann dann ganz entspannt zu Tagesanbruch auf den Hang schlappen und das richtige Licht abpassen. Ohne Hektik und Theater. Vorausgesetzt, man merkt sich über Nacht die Stelle (oder markiert sie).<br>

Marcus RimpelEs gibt so Apollobilder, die mag ich mehr als andere Apollobilder. Das hier ist so eins. Weil das eine schöne Falterin ist. Weil es schöne Farben im Hintergrund hat. Und wohl auch, weil es einiger Geduld und Mühen mehr bedurfte, als viele andere Apollobilder, was man nun aber natürlich nicht sehen kann.<br>
