But a brief filed on behalf of the #immigrants by the #ACLU & #DemocracyForward said that block is now “the only thing” preventing the Trump admin from sending immigrants “to a prison in #ElSalvador, perhaps never to be seen again, without any kind of procedural protection, much less judicial review.”

I wonder how much money is changing hands… and how many deals are being made… for the US to send people over to that El Salvador prison 
Remember, the president of El Salvador said that the money he received from countries that send over prisoners will keep his prison system “sustainable.”
ICE cannot bring back the man they deported to the El Salvador prison, supposedly in error, claiming that the US no longer has authority.
The man, Kilmar Abrego Garcia, is from El Salvador. In 2019, a US judge declared that he must stay in the US for his safety, fearing he would be killed or tortured if he returned to El Salvador.
His wife and child are both US citizens, and he had no criminal record in the United States.

So my point about cutting the federal gov’t as they send people to the El Salvador prison without due process— the government is paying for them to be there. So it is supposedly “saving” money with the employment cuts while spending an unknown amount of money sending people (who, in many cases, weren’t already in jail) to the El Salvador prison.
