I hate this game. Too much time is spent reading over a dizzying array of symbols, rules, cards, turn orders, sequences, and timings. I just want to roll some freakin' dice already! And you barely get to do any of that.Next, we played some <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/CatLady" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#CatLady</a>. Fun little game. Super cute. Highly recommend.Then we played some <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/CastlesofMadKingLudwig" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#CastlesofMadKingLudwig</a>. This is one of my favorite games. I should really buy a copy. And lastly, I finally got a chance to play <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/Agricola" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Agricola</a>. I did a terrible job, but I loved every second of it. <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/gameday" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#gameday</a> <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/games" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#games</a>

Fox Mime ➡️ FWAUpdate: Today we played 1v1 of Cyclops vs Rogue (I wanted to try out her moves). Lot of cool mechanics around boosting damage and stealing HP, which I love for her character. Sad to say my loss streak continues, aaand maybe I need to reconsider my life's choices because I must've pissed off a wizard for such bad dice luck, hahaha.The good news is there's only 1 or 2 new characters left for us to try and after that we can start the co-op missions! Fox Mime ➡️ FWAGot my ass kicked in a 1v1 game of Marvel dice throne today, haha. It's not that I felt I did poorly as Wolverine so much as my opponent was rolling HOT as Psylocke - who managed to get off three ultimate attacks against me. Between end-of-semester busyness and car reconstruction, there has been little work done on various 2024 projects.However, I was able to complete the first in a series of probability calculations for Dice Throne.If you play the game, it is specifically the probability of some minions to roll a success. Thanks to the wonderful homebrew Dice Throne community, it is really easy to use templates to make your own minions and bosses.Again, playtest was largely successful, but a bit more to do. Call me BearEvery 4th tile I place, gain loot that matches the type of tile. e.g. A level 2 encounter tile would provide a level 2 loot.Once I place the correct number of tiles, I choose a random level boss. --- In playtesting, I realized that I still need to work out the healing salves and acquiring the three 'keys' to unlock the boss portal. Call me BearThe changes I made are:Based on the level of the crawl, take three specific encounter tiles.Roll 2d6 to determine the total number of tiles for this crawl. This includes the three from the first step.Roll d20 to determine encounter type for each tile as I work through the crawl. Call me BearThe RAW map tells me the approximate loot and power level of encounters at first glance. On the positive side, though, the rewards for the encounters can be very swingy. You could get a simple +1 to the next attack or a powerful card that seriously upgrades your character, even for a lower level encounter.For solo play, I don't want to know what's coming.
