*Hoarder victory dance!* I bought this curved cymbal stand arm several years ago, honestly not having a particular need for it, but enticed by the novelty, and it was on closeout—presumably not a big seller. Today I was trying to figure out how to mount a crash on the far side of my rack tom without adding a whole new stand, and a memory lightbulb lit up! It’s perfect.

🫧🌪️ New drop in the garden of noise! 🌸💿

"Velvet Blues" is another live-coded trip with my partner osc()_peterson ( @superdirtspatz ),
with visual support from @hpunq

This time, we dove into dreamy indie pop washed-out textures, hazy home-recorded chords, ambient layers, and chaotic vibes.

I've been thinking about getting an FRFR Speaker Cab for a good long while. (FRFR = Full Range Flat Response, so perfect for guitar modeling amps and e-drums, etc.)
My main contenders so far were the Line6 Powercab and the Fender Tone Master FR-12, but alas they're both US companies, so out of the question at this point in time. Now I'm buying a Laney LFR instead.

Here's my drum cover of "The Perfect Element" by Pain of Salvation!

For Sandro, who decided to enter the room in the middle of the recording!
Feel free to blame him for all the mistakes 😄

I used the live version for the final part, as I think that's amazing - and also saves some drumming 😁

Hope you like it!
