Micah
AWS re:Invent 2024 – Event-driven architectures at scale: Manage millions of events

There’s an incredible number of videos already on YouTube from this year’s re:Invent. In fact, most were up within 24 hours following the live session. It sort of boggles my mind that this is possible.

Anyway, I thought I’d share videos I’ve been watching here, because why not.

This first one is really good. It’s two folks at AWS who I admire and have had a chance to work with this past year. Eric Johnson and Brian Zambrano.

In this talk, they go over the basic concepts around Event Driven Architecture, and then dive deep into how large scale organizations can manage millions of events across hundreds of domains.

Enjoy!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dy7UXS7ur14&t=2234s
