Today's scenario was on the more advanced side (I added dropped weapons and big concrete pillar obstacles). I liked how it looked, but right now, every #Gaslands session pulls in people who haven't played before, which means sessions run slower.
That's a happy problem to have, but it means I'm always teaching new players. Which is fun of course, help builds up the game's base at the con, but also means I need to keep things simple.
After running my #Gaslands Concrete Jungle scenario (a battle royale/death race mashup) today, I'm thinking maybe next con I run two 2-hour intro games.
One Friday night, one sometime Saturday. Skip Sunday (fewer people around Sunday afternoon).
Save a more advanced scenario for the future, when there are more folks with a few games under their belts.
The monowheelbot may have been a bit of a failure but #gaslands pack 2 is getting there! You can get pack 1 at makerworld, or as separate models at thingiverse!

Looking ahead to next #MEPACon, I think I'm going to run my 2-hour "Straight to Hell" #Gaslands tutorial, with two more 4-hour Gaslands games on Saturday and Sunday.
Throw in an RPG session (for a game I already know, like #MothershipRPG or #ShadowDark) and I could greatly reduce my prep time.
Watching #Severance and putting the finishing touches on my next #Gaslands scenario.
