If you want to get some interesting seascape shots during the day you will need a 6 or 10 stop ND filter and CPL filter. This can give you some interesting texture in the water and sky.

If you want to take to the air via helicopter or light plane to see the Great Ocean Road - go in the warmer months as there is usually less cloud cover. Try to book a spot as close to sunset as possible. To do this you may need to book a doors off helicopter or plane flight. If you wish to book a flight like this then these are the 3 operators to offer this service:
* Apollo Bay Aviation (helicopters)
* Twelve Apostles helicopters
* Skydive Twelve Apostles (light plane)
No matter which one you choose you must email them ahead of time to book a doors off experience. The light plane option is the cheapest option per hour.
