@Tooden @mathcolorstrees we always offered booking on a choice of platforms but the cellophane tape brand #airbnb name usually wins, tho it is more expensive for #guests. They choose.

we live in our #farm in our farmhouse, and acquired from family another bit of adjoining acreage, where we had improved the land, with a very large modern farmhouse, that helps local wedding and event venues have place for people to stay. It is also #ag #education for our city guests.

Wish me luck. I'm imminently due to be the convivial host to a couple of my wife's friends and their 10yr old autistic son.

Because he's autistic and I'm autistic and because we both enjoy Minecraft and also he's interested in mathematics and im a Mathematician... well,I've been tasked by both my wife and her friend to 'entertain' the kid.

That is, let them socialise in peace in the dining room over cheese, crackers and wine while I'm supposed look after this kid.

Wish me luck, wish me patience, wish me a bucket load of spoons. XD

A Canadian Thanksgiving dinner on a Friday night? Because that's when our guests could make it.

Outside North America, I don't think people ''get'' Thanksgiving.

Everything turned out well. The gas bottle ran out while dessert was in the oven, but it was a simple matter to open the gas locker and switch to the other bottle.

Four dinner plates on a table, each with traditional thanksgiving fare: yams, mashed potato, beets, carrots, a bun, turkey, cranberries.
