Marc Thomas<p>Made some progress the last few days on the Cardio Corner wall. We put up the framing about 2 weeks ago. Last week I got all the electrical installed and this weekend I got the networking wired up. Tonight, if all goes well, I'll be putting up the actual wall. </p><p>Then I got to order a wall mounted network rack, patch panel, network switch and a 7 27 inch monitors. Will probably have the network stuff ordered and installed within the next few weeks. But the monitors are going to take longer. Still got to find an appropriate one at a reasonable price. My preliminary list suggests it's gonna cost me around 1k. I finished the Lago D’Iseo West route in 45min instead of the 50min predicted by <a href="https://toot.cat/tags/rouvy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>rouvy</span></a></p><p>Plus: husband got a new rowing machine and I may get into rowing too. It means that whenever I am feeling stuck in my fitness performance, all I need is an all inclusive resort vacation and some rum. It’s all nice and flat until you hit 5km of steep hills - not even joking, it’s 5km, and the climbs are somewhere in between 7% and 11%. FML - it stands for fuck my legs.</p><p>I survived. The Fediverse Cat<p>First workout of 2025 completed.</p><p>Did a 45 min ride class on Peloton. It was about to start when I went to the bike and I said, sure, why not?</p><p>Sometimes I appreciate the live classes on Peloton because they take away the inertia of “what am I going to do today”, like today. Class was there, click button, receive workout. While I do find the workout structure on Apple Fitness for running and cycling better, this feature is really something. I do tons of live classes because they motivate me.</p><p>Anyway, the class itself was great. Peloton usually has the best music.
