Ladybug Parade!
Found a ladybug spawning ground last year round this time, and went back to check it this week. They seemed to be much more active and spread out this round, and I didn't see nearly as much fungi (particularly boletes) as was present last year. It's definitely drier and warmer despite having the atmospheric river dump a couple weeks ago.

I had never seen a #Coccinellid house. Until now. The #Vermont Country Store, Weston VT.

It's baby-making season here in Tasmania. I'm posting ladybirds because some of the marsupial footage the trailcams have captured recently is rather graphic.

I don’t know what kind of plant to buy, nor am I sure where I could put it in my crowded room, but I would really like to do *something* for all these #ladybugs in here before they all starve to death.

I seem to have collected a small swarm of #ladybugs in my room. apparently there’s a some sort of crack in the screens on the two windows I nearly always have open.

worst part is I can’t figure out out to capture them so I can put them outside. I’m sure they’re going to starve in here, which gives me a sad. I like ladybugs.
