My seedGrown lemonTree has been flowering nonstop since January. This is her second burst this winter, perhaps anticipating the spring. The sweet aroma fills the kitchen.

My seedGrown lemonTree has lots of flower buds! Much more than any previous years. I did give a bit of fertilizer and organic soil to cover the bare root on the surface of the pot. It’s gonna be so fragrant in a few days. 
My seedGrown lemonTree wintering in the kitchen thinks it’s spring, and has a few teeny flower buds! 
I’m wondering a little fertilizer would help her to fruit? 
She’s been flowering since 2014, but no lemon. She germinated in 2006. 
Brought in my huge, seedGrown, citrus trees for the cold months. Once again, our kitchen is a jungle. I love it.

Yesterday, I took the big #lemonTree outside, and #MrCardinal came to see!
The lemon tree is grown from a seed, and will be 18 this June. She’s been flowering, but no fruit. I painstakingly remove the thorns for the sake of wildlife safety.
I’m not a good gardener. For I don’t have a heart to squish little bugs. I mean, look at them. So tiny, clinging onto cuke… 
New pots! Well for five of them. Weirdly 80% of the original batch of these lemons is still alive.

I never knew how much a lemon tree flowers
My #meyerlemons are ready…just a few days before I have to go back to work of course 
Not making treats, we have enough…can’t do #lemoncurd because I’m told it’s not always safe to water bath can it…so instead it’ll be a lemon raspberry #marmalade I think.
