Metalhead.club is now running Mastodon v4.3.8 (security update, fixes) #metalheadclub
An dieser Stelle darf ich mal an alle hier im #metalheadclub herzliche Grüße von „Dani Filz“ ausrichten, die nicht mehr auf Mastodon aktiv ist, aber immer wieder mal an uns denkt.
Oops, I did it again!
When I tried to book the poster space in Wacken again for the upcoming Wacken Open Air 2025 at the end of 2024, I was disappointed: The advertising space from the previous attempt (and all other well-situated located advertising spaces) were no longer available.
Now I spontaneously checked again and the billboard at Hauptstraße 33 is available again! Even better: The rental intervals are much more favorable than last year! Our metalhead.club poster will be up from July 25th to August 4th - the whole festival period!

You can download the poster here, print it out yourself and hang it up in your favorite bars and concert venues - after consulting the owners, of course … ;-)

Bin gerade mal wieder die Finanzen für trashserver.net und metalhead.club durchgegangen und es sieht weiterhin gut aus!
4 Dauerspender sind leider entfallen - entweder, weil sie ihre Daueraufträge auslaufen haben lassen oder entfernt haben - oder weil sie statt eines Dauerauftrags offenbar doch nur einen Einzelauftrag eingestellt haben ;-)
Ist aber nicht tragisch - wir stehen weiterhin sehr gut da. Bin immer noch sehr stolz auf die Community hier! Metalhead.club gibt es seit bald 8 Jahren! Und das nur auf Basis eurer Spenden!

I just went through the finances for trashserver.net and metalhead.club again and things are still looking good!
Unfortunately, 4 standing donors have dropped out - either because they let their standing orders expire or removed them - or because they apparently only set up a single order instead of a standing order ;-)
But that's not tragic - we're still doing very well. I'm still very proud of the community here! Metalhead.club has been around for almost 8 years! And that's only thanks to your donations!

You can search on hashtags for your favourite genres, artists, etc. and then follow those hashtags in your app. That will pretty quickly put you in touch with any communities or servers around those things.
(For me, the best is #MetalheadClub, but that's just my taste. 
)
Let's all thank @Kitty for a minute for relentlessly killing spammer accounts in the background while we're browsing. 
12 accounts have been deleted from Federation with metalhead.club today alone!
Sorry for the short interruption - gave metalhead.club 100 GB more SSD. Instead of 450 now 550 GB.
(without S3/media, only database + system).
