Monsters have babies too.
Baby monsters are even harder to find than the elusive "baby" pigeon. Very few folks can say that they've seen them, let alone created their portraits. I have been lucky. As you might imagine, monster parents can be a bit protective. Mothers in particular. They consider us (humans) more than a bit strange and potentially dangerous. It took most of my free time, lots of monster "treats" and carefully followed Monster Etiquette to befriend just a few of them. Even then, I felt a bit nervous and on edge as I made sketches of their most beloved offspring. It is always a good idea to remind oneself that monsters are ultimately unpredictable creatures, and should be given proper respect at all times.

Calling all those who signed up for the Mothering Sunday Yarn Box - it's time for the big reveal!

Introducing 'Mother's Day Blooms', a 100g skein of hand dyed yarn consisting of 80% Falkland Island Wool and 20% Mulberry Silk. There are two skeins in each box.

Included in the box is a candle, soap, chocolate, a notebook, flower stitch markers, a bookmark, body lotion and tea.

Biologicals require more joywork

MOTHER has determined that adult biologicals are growing pale due to a lack of joywork. As of 0600 hrs tomorrow there will be an additional 2,504 mandatory daily man-hours in field sector 2 and 9,520 hours of mandatory mix-labour in field sector 7. Labour hours in the ironworks will increase until sufficient tools are provided. For fairness, work hours will be distributed by algorithmic lottery.

MOTHER has determined this decision is correct. There will be no appeal.
