We are short on time, and if we are not able to book more time at the motel, we will be stuck in the lot within our RV that is broken down and has no plumbing or electricity. I have to call the oral surgeon today, so being sheltered would make it so that I can better prepare and take care of myself post-op.

Hello Fedi. My partner @LukeOrion and I are only $40 away from being able to book two nights inside the motel again after spending last three nights outside in our RV in the heat without plumbing and electricity (generator doesn’t work and we can’t use the air conditioner). And if we didn’t have enough on our plate, after running the RV last night to keep the battery from dying our engine started leaking some kind of fluid (likely coolant) AGAIN, so we can’t even currently leave the motel parking lot. At least two nights inside would help us be able to figure out dealing with that.

We have an overall goal of $300 which would cover three nights inside along with other non-food essentials. Thankfully we received our EBT card yesterday and we no longer have to worry about staying fed.

We are a disabled trans couple that struggles to be able to get by. We have survived being unhoused on multiple occasions now. We are currently seeking more permanent housing options for us (like renting a room).

Hello fedi. Trying to raise $300 so that my partner @LukeOrion and I can stay sheltered and fed over the next two days. We are a disabled trans couple that struggles to be able to get by. We are trying to be able to stay inside this motel for a couple more nights until we can find permanent housing. We had previously been trying to live full time in an RV, but unfortunately, repeated mechanical issues coupled with non-working plumbing/shower and non-working generator have made it impossible for us to actually achieve that goal. Please help us stay inside with access to electricity, plumbing, and air conditioning, as well as being able to get food and stay fed.

A few weeks back, I asked for help for a friend of mine down in Australia who is having trouble finding a job after abruptly losing her last one. Some wonderful, generous people on this platform pitched in and ensured that she'd still have a roof over her head while she waits for her unemployment insurance application to kick in.

Good news, she finally has a date! August 6th. Unfortunately, that's a couple of days after her rent is due. Right now, she just needs about $350 USD to make it, and then she'll be covered!

July 26 edit: we were able to cover tonight, and meds, but there are only 2 days until the bill is due, and 3 days until my birthday. We are starting over for the room cost today so we can make sure we don’t have to leave tomorrow.
