Scottish LassHacker News has a thread "it's not stupid if it works" story. My favourite was in 1990s I talked to the curator of a small specialist library complementing them on the design of their printed newsletter Asked "what desktop publishing software do you use?". Long pause. They typed up items on paper, arranged them beside photos and drawings...on a photo copier then duplicated and that's how the pages were created. MDMRNAs many of y'all know, I'm a Dad with a small gaggle of kids. Well, it's closing in on <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/Christmas?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Christmas</a> and we have a trio of Elves on Shelves. Last night, the three of them decided to make photocopies of their faces. They needed one on top to man the equipment and keep the top down. Looks like it worked and they happened to get two copies made of their faces.
