Just a fern from my garden, but what a tension there is in that not yet unrolled leaf. And soon, unrolled, it is just as beautiful. I love ferns with their architectural leaves. On the left half a rolled up fern leaf rises from below like a question mark. At the top the rolled up leaf. Small very light brown bumps rolled up in a spiral. Around it are reddish brown (almost like hair) leaves wrapped around the spiral. On the dark green background vaguely a few already rolled out fern leaves. On the right a second leaf goes from bottom left to top right. The end bent like a hook with a small ball at the bottom that still has to unroll. The fern on the left is very sharp, catches the most light and therefore seems to come forward from the photo.
