A Simple Colour Dawn Photo In Landscape Format. At The Base Of The Image Stretching Across From Left To Right And Rising Only About Ten Per Cent Is A Concrete Sea Wall. Standing On The Sea Wall, A Little To The Right Of Centre Is A Man, Camera In Hand, Taking A Photo Of The Sunrise Scene. Above The Man And Running Diagonally From The Lower Right Corner Towards The Upper Left Corner Are The Branches And Leaves Of A Large Tree, Nearly All In Shadow With Only The Green Showing In The Foliage In A Few Places. In The Background Is A Clear And Cloudless Sky, The Colours Graduating From A Rich Orange At The Bottom Through Yellow To Blue At The Very Top Of The Image.

This Is A Colour Landscape Photo In Landscape Format. The Lower Half Of The Image Is Filled With A Dark Body Of Still Water Reflecting All That Is Above. Above The Half Way Point Is A Shoreline With Two Futuristic Building On Its Edge. Each Building Is In A Curved Wave Shape With White Beams At Right Or Near Right Angles To The Wave. These Large Beams Support A Lattice Of Glass Structure Beneath. To The Right Of These Buildings Are A Number Of Tree Like Structures Topped With An Inverted Flattened Cone. The Buildings, Structures And Nearly Clear Sky Are Reflected In The Still Water Below.
The Location Is The Marina Reservoir In Singapore. The Futuristic Buildings Are The Flower Dome And Cloud Forrest. The Tree Like Structures Are The SuperTree Grove: All Part Of The 'Gardens By The Bay' (2012).

A Grungy Black And White Street Photo In Landscape Format. In The Foreground Is An Assortment Of Dead Vegetation And Rubble. Behind Is A Small Wall With Bent Metal Railings On Top. On The Railing Is A Line Of Laundry Drying That Stretches From One Side Of The Image To The Other. In Front Of The Wall Are Four Small Children Sitting A Mat On The Ground. The Elder Whose Back Is To The Camera Appears To Be A Girl, As Is The Next Largest Who Is Wearing A Scarf Over Her Head. To The Left Is A Boy, Perhaps Four Or Five Years Old, Wearing A Bobble Hat And Stretching His Hands Out As If Warming Them Over An Imaginary Fire. On The Right, Next To The Oldest Girl Is A Small Child, Maybe Two Or Three With His Back To The Camera. To The Right Of The Children Is A Bath Tub Hanging From The Railings, It's Purpose - Unknown. Update on Rosie Pearl—the hummingbird that made a nest and laid her eggs in my back patio string lights. The twins keep growing! Swipe to see a progression of their growth. They look huge in this picture, but they are still very tiny hummingbirds. Rosie doesn’t comes as often as she used to. These babies are almost ready to take flight!

Langwell Water - a wonderful view of the river with the backdrop of Morven.

From a high vantage point a view down into a river valley skirted by steep hills and distant mountains. The valley is green pasture and stands of yellow whins, the uplands darker greens and browns.

A Very Simple Colour Wildlife Photo In Landscape Format. To The Left Of Centre And Filling About Half The Frame Is A Close Up Photo Of A California Scrub Jay (Aphelocoma Californica). The Bird Is Perched On A Length Of Wood, At Right Angles To The Camera And Facing To The Left. Our Bird Is Generally Very Light Grey With A Few Areas Of Medium Grey. What Makes The Bird Distinctive Are The Vivid Medium Blue Areas. On The Crown Of The Head: Blue, Under The Chin: Blue, Wings And Tail: Blue. Our Bird Had A Friendly Disposition Possibly Thinking It Was Lunchtime. The Background Is Filled With Sea Mist.
