Andi Chorley<p>Black Merda is the self-titled debut album by the Detroit rock band Black Merda. It was released in 1970 by Chess Records.</p><p>Originally The Soul Agents, backing up an array of Motown and Brunswick acts and performing as Edwin Starr’s permanent backing band. They played on “Twenty Five Miles.” and “War.”.
