It kinda hurts my belief in humans when I see radicals choosing to expend significant amounts of energy on tearing down the works of other radicals, on the basis of overall minor issues or outright smear.

People who only know how to dismantle but not how to build are a real obstacle for real change to occur.

This doesn't mean you can't criticise your fellow radicals, but don't go on a f-ing crusade against them, and don't make dismantling your sole activity.

How should children in the future seize the means of production without the basic tools of reading and writing? This is manufacturing generational ineptness or serfdom. Without being able to formulate their own ideas and grasp more complex topics, they will be doomed to the whims of authority and people who have the aptitude to grasp those concepts. Am I missing here the point This is madness. #imho

I'm interested in praxis and rhetoric, but also metaphysical insight (given conflict appears endemic) as long as complete submission to material injustice isn't the main strategy.

I've read a lot about transgression, accountability in the context of decarceral liberation but I don't know a lot about prefigurative models for conflict resolution. Boosts appreciated.

I see growing number of signals about radical people being rapidly and forcibly deplatformed (one could say "cancelled") by mainstream. Here is a prominent case:

James' store was shut down. Social media accounts banned. Payment processors pulled out, banks refused to work with him.

Now, isn't fediverse a place, where such persons could (and should) be welcome? With a little bit of communal knowledge and support we can start finding instances, where those prosecuted by the Trump mafia state could publish in peace, beyond #MuskRats' ability to reach them (at least easily).

These are people the fediverse is invented for, aren't they.
Let's start from listing (or creating) some instances willing and able to help. Any suggestions?

The real challenges are about capitalism, and unless we can start talking about #capitalism , then I don't know how we can go forward at all really. It's critical that we own up to this and start challenging the power structures.

We are a week-long radical sleep-away music camp for queer/trans youth ages 13-17 in #NorthCarolina!

Campers get to experience building queer community with peers & elders, & have a week to create a song(s) & perform it at the end-of-camp showcase! In between that, there are many workshops & fun activities!

We have a COVID-19 policy; with multiple testing sessions throughout camp, & mask requirements at various periods. (We are also reworking it so more can safely enjoy camp!)

There are plenty of ways to contribute, including...

-volunteering (we are especially looking out for nurses this year!)
-doing a workshop (examples we've had: zine-making, voice-training, local ecology, self-defense, & more!)
-spreading the word
-donating funds, supplies, or materials

As an anarchist who consistently stands for anarchism, it feels really shitty; you feel like a solitaire, lost in the diasporia, which is also the reason why anarchism in Germany really only exists in very small niches and is very quickly crushed when persecuted. And it's the reason why there's hardly any hope for a real social revolution here. Moreover, since October 7th, things have become even more toxic for anarchists.
