After I #graduate from my #astrophysics #masters #program next #year, I'm going to take a #GapYear to #improve my #resume for #applications to #PhD programs. Probably I would be doing an #internship, and given the #Trump #cuts here in the #USA, there aren't many #opportunities available.

I've heard that #France is picking up some of the slack. I'm #wondering if I should go, what I should do to #prepare, and where else there would be opportunities for me. Does anyone have #advice?

From what career consultants call a "portfolio career," I have 6 resumes: acting, teaching, writing, content strategy, production and admin.

Just put them together into 1 page for an application, and it's, dare I say it, kinda fancy in some ways. It's almost like I've done stuff, like a real boy.

Managing chronic health conditions is a part-time job with no pay. Research- you're the expert on your health, you're leading the team for identification of diagnosis, testing, & treatment options. Observation- note taking, symptom monitoring, side effect recording. Administrative- wrangling specialists, referrals, appointments, scheduling, testing. Practical management -meds, diet, dealing with symptoms.

Can I add it to my resume?

I'm seeking advice from anyone who has recently crafted a #resume. I have a potential #JobOffer and need to create one. If you've done this recently, how did you approach it? I've explored several #ResumeBuilders but am unsure which ones are #accessible and suitable for me. I wanted to generate a resume from my #LinkedIn profile, but it seems that feature is no longer available. Additionally, I've attempted college three times but had to withdraw each time due to #ChronicIllness. My primary experience includes contract usability testing and earning certificates through #freeCodeCamp and #Codecademy. How would you recommend addressing this on a resume? I'm considering a #FunctionalResume template in #MicrosoftWord, but it's quite daunting.
