Now accepting covid vaccinated applicants, with a vehicle, for my future road trip adventures/respite/bucket list breaks from work/city stress.

Must have flexible schedule.
Must be older than 30.
Must be 420 friendly.
Must have safe, insured vehicle.
Must be OK carrying/moving my luggage for me.
Must not be a hard drugs user or heavy drinker.
Must not be a loud snorer.
Must be OK helping me when needed with hands up on hiking gnarly trails.
Must enjoy random paddling adventures.
Must be OK with jumping on a zipline, if I feel penchant for that.
Must like seafood.
Must help clean up when needed, without me prompting.

Gas, accommodation & meals would be covered. Applicants just need to be able to be a safe driver with valid insurance, be OK with me screening you for covid safety/general safety concerns, first.

Please boost, if you're on #VancouverIsland or connected to #VanIsle folks here ✌️

DM me, to apply 😊

Years and years ago when I still lived up north we used to drive to Thunder Bay to buy a case of Canadian beer in those stubby little bottles.

They'd take your order and your case would come out of the warehouse on one of those roller conveyor things, whatever they're called. Neat!

Don't know why we did that—just an excuse, really, to drive to Canada. Didn't need a passport or a fancy ID in those days.

'The LCBO said the measure is "part of Ontario's response strategy to the imposed U.S. tariffs on Canadian goods." The LCBO said it is the "importer of record" for all U.S. alcohol products into the province, with annual sales of up to $965 million. It lists more than 3,600 products from 35 U.S. states.'

Yeah. I took #US #roadtrips the last 2 summers and I mainly stuck to campgrounds and places that weren't heavily peopled. I was mildly terrified when I realized that one campsite was only filled with ATV users and had no phone or internet signal. I just hunkered down and stayed hidden in the imaginary safety of my cloth house.

Question aux Voyageurs.

Yes, during my working years, getting there and getting back within a week or 2 was the way things had to be done. I'm happy to be semi-retired so I've been able to take 4-week #roadtrips the last 3 years. Still, even on a fast trip, some stops have to me made for eating, elimination, and motion. They might as well be as interesting as possible.

Hmm. not sure what you're going for but I've been dropping pins on Google Maps for all of my #roadtrips as well as plotting out next year's Korea trip. Each of them is saved as a particular trip. I look at the map a lot to plot out which way to go to catch as many as possible as well as deciding what to drop. I can easily check 2 or more pinpoints on the map to choose all possible directions between them.

Rome2Rio is a great app for transportation options.
