New Year’s Day Walk 2025

A walk on the Bluff Trail at Montaña de Oro State Park is our favorite way to begin the new year. Looking for a break from the news, we headed out on January 1 hoping to see some big waves crashing into the rocks. We didn’t get the waves but did have a wonderful walk on a beautiful day.

My choice of a wider lens than my usual focal length had me struggling to find compositions. The photographs below are the ones I feel best captured what we saw and experienced that day.

Hopefully, we will get out for more walks like this one throughout the year.
