I'm also curious how most folks get their books for #SFFBookClub. Library? Ebook? Audio book? Buying paperback or hardback? Mostly just trying to figure out how long to wait after books to come out to put them up for reading. I don't want to create a financial hardship for folks buying physical copies, but if everybody's buying ebooks or using the library then I wouldn't wait as long to put more recent books in the polls.

Also I'd be curious if folks are able to get books in time. I was thinking about keeping the same schedule of posting halfway through the month with a poll that lasts a week. This gives folks five weeks to both source a book and read it. Is there a better timing I could do?
This could be multiple polls, but there's too many options, so feel free to just respond directly.

Here's the options for the #SFFBookClub book poll for February. :boost_request:

I've added two books from this best of 2024 list: esquire.com/entertainment/book

The SFFBookClub is our informal fediverse science fiction and fantasy book club. Everyone reading this is welcome to participate. We vote on a book, read said book, and then discuss and review on the #SFFBookClub hashtag over the course of the month. Feel free to jump in if one of these books catches your eye even if you haven't joined before. Wiki link with past books: sffbookclub.eatgod.org
