🦼Exiled NYer- Connie<p><a href="https://beige.party/tags/ShadeGardening" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ShadeGardening</span></a> <a href="https://beige.party/tags/MushroomGrowing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MushroomGrowing</span></a> <br><a href="https://beige.party/tags/mycelium" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>mycelium</span></a> </p><p>For three years I’ve lived in a nearly fully shaded apartment and for three years I’ve been fighting it.</p><p>Yes, I’ve grown shade plants but what if I REALLY try to thrive in this atmosphere?</p><p>Why not ask my upstairs neighbor, who runs a tree service, for some hardwood chips, buy a winecap mushroom starter kit, and try my hand at mushrooms?</p><p>I don’t *have* to get that carried away, I can do it in a five gallon pail, but why not just go for it?</p><p>There’s fresh air and sunshine on the patio but let’s face it, not a whole lot with it being built into the side of the hill.</p>
