Marshall Pt Light, Maine. If you remember the movie "Forest Gump," where he runs out the gangway, pictured below, & up to the light marking the furthest east point in the US, it is not. The furthest east point is the West Quoddy Head Light near Lebec, Maine. The house below, I found to be kind of creepy. Inside, they had photos of the families who had lived there. I don't believe in ghosts, but those photos looked lonely & felt very ghostly.

Stan built his home right on the edge of the Puget Sound. He would never have to worry about someone building something that would obstruct his view. Unfortunately, ships existed and, sometimes, they anchored in one spot for weeks at a time.
