Clothwright<p>I'm ready for a break from the wheel. Four skeins plied this weekend, plus the chain-plied oddments of the leftovers. Yarn now soaking. It doesn't look anything like what I anticipated, but it could end up being quite nice. Clothwright<p>The world is depressing rn and I don't know what to do so here's some more yarn in the making. Big bobbin of singles and the start of the second braid. I'm at the point where I'm thinking the yarn will turn out lovely as a landfill, but I won't know unless I treadle on. I thought I'd spin the same grist but this wants to be fatter so I'll let it. I might manage four braids in September. FanCityKnits 🇺🇦🧶<p><a href="https://troet.cafe/tags/Fiberuary" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Fiberuary</span></a> - a coat made from <a href="https://troet.cafe/tags/handdyed" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>handdyed</span></a> fiber, spun in a mix &amp; match style.</p><p>I took six braids that where mainly in the purple-turquoise family, split them in half and then in 1 m pieces, made two equal heaps, grabbed randomly a piece and made a 2-ply yarn from it.</p><p>Then turned that into that glorious piece of knitting.
