Eugene Alvin Villar 🇵🇭<p><a href="https://en.osm.town/tags/30DayMapChallenge" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>30DayMapChallenge</span></a> 🗺️ Day 1️⃣4️⃣: A world map</p><p>Normally I would render a world map in my favorite Cahill–Concialdi projection, but I figured, why not continue to use Day 13’s new tool <a href="https://en.osm.town/tags/D3js" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>D3js</span></a> and render a world map in a vintage two-hemisphere <a href="https://en.osm.town/tags/stereographic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>stereographic</span></a> projection? (Yeah, this could also fit into Day 7’s theme.)</p><p>I am rather pleased with how this turned out. 😀</p><p>You can view the live D3-powered map here: <a href="https://30dmc.sector4f.com/map/2024-11-14" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">30dmc.sector4f.com/map/2024-11</span><span class="invisible">-14</span></a></p><p>Base map is from <a href="https://en.osm.town/tags/NaturalEarth" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>NaturalEarth</span></a>’s 1:50m Cultural Vectors.</p>
