Meet Leopold, my beloved little cat. This is one of the most important photos I made of him. Leopold loved to be photographed but got sick right after we moved to a new place last year. He had the cone of shame for more than 3 months. I was shooting a portrait for the first time after the move, and when he saw this photo opportunity, he immediately came and tried to climb up to the chair in his giant collar. He knew this was his time to shine, so I removed his collar, brushed his mane, and turned down the power of the flash - as I used a beauty dish, and I didn’t want to hurt his eyes. Even though he is fluffy, you can still see the dents on his front legs from the blood tests and on his mane from the collar. But he knew he was beautiful and confidently showed the camera what a cat looks like in its prime. ❤️@️@imleopoldthecat@mastodon.social
