Keith D Johnson<p>A little thing I've been working on, incrementally. Made some progress in the last couple days. The first image is a couple days ago and the second is today, closer to completion. More <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/urbanite" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>urbanite</span></a> to install at the top, and to the left of the steps. I already started adding plants. <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/Mulch" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Mulch</span></a> tomorrow.<br><a href="https://sfba.social/tags/masonry" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>masonry</span></a> <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/landscaping" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>landscaping</span></a> <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/gardening" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>gardening</span></a>, <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/permaculture" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>permaculture</span></a> <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/photography" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>photography</span></a></p>
Keith D Johnson<p>1/ in a series of seasonal photos from my garden.<br>It took two years from seed to <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/flower" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>flower</span></a>...but it was worth it. These pure white foxgloves (Digitalis purpurea f. albiflora) are gorgeous in sun or part shade [perennial!!! I am going to have SOOO MUCH seed and it's hard to find.]<br>Also the latest addition (the last terrace bed) to this <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/urbanite" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>urbanite</span></a> <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/landscaping" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>landscaping</span></a> project. <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/permaculture" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>permaculture</span></a> <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/gardening" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>gardening</span></a> <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/photography" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>photography</span></a></p>
Keith D Johnson<p>I asked a guy, who was tearing up a driveway a couple miles from my place, if I could have the busted "urbanite" for <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/landscaping" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>landscaping</span></a>, as my site has NO rocks (unless they were brought here). I'm 72 and I really should find some helpers. Every piece gets picked up and set down at least 3 times before coming to rest, not to mention busting up the big pieces and fine shaping the smaller ones. It adds up and my knees let me know they are not thrilled. Oh, well. I think it looks nice &amp; I love the work. Keeps me exercised while wearing me down. Like Life. <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/urbanite" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>urbanite</span></a> <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/hardscaping" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>hardscaping</span></a> <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/permaculture" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>permaculture</span></a> <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/gardening" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>gardening</span></a></p>
Hippy Steve<p><span class="h-card"><a href="https://m.ai6yr.org/@ai6yr" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>ai6yr</span></a></span> depends on the height and materials. I'd recommend <a href="https://m.ai6yr.org/tags/urbanite" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>urbanite</span></a> here. My friend Marco of La Loma does amazing things with it.</p>
