It is important to note that any money the US is sending to El Salvador is coming from US taxpayers. In addition, the US government must address the tax code this year or it will revert to the way it was prior to 2017 (which was not beneficial to many). #Trump and the GOP plan on tax cuts that will benefit the wealthy at the expense of those with less means. It is also enacting dramatic changes that will affect the government’s provision of funding and services for Americans.

So, to summarize:

1) Abrego Garcia was apparently so dangerous that he was sent to a maximum-security prison for terrorists in El Salvador— yet quickly released from that prison (which is notorious for NOT releasing people) to an unknown Salvadorian location.

2) Mr. Garcia was also so apparently dangerous that he could meet casually with a US senator in a hotel lobby, not restrained and dressed in plain clothes. He even shook the senator’s hand.

Local energy officials confirmed that the blackouts were a result of Putin's forces strikes on Ukraine energy infrastructure.

In March, the US brokered a partial ceasefire between Ukraine and russia on attacks against #energy facilities, after the Kremlin refused to accept a full 30-day ceasefire on all hostilities.

Since then, Putin's forces violated the ceasefire more than 30 times, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Heorhii Tykhyi said on April 16.

None of #MyThoughts negate the fact that Abrego Garcia was ripped away from his family and wrongfully deported without due process. But questions remain.

Housing prisoners is expensive, and the Salvadorian president said that American money would keep his prison system sustainable.

What if he could have his cake and eat it too, so to speak, and NOT imprison all the deportees. I mean, it’s not like the #trump admin would go looking for Mr. Garcia or any other deportee.

The deal runs thus: The U.S. deports criminal illegal aliens to be incarcerated in El Salvador's Terrorism Containment Center megaprison (also known as CECOT)-in this case, gang members from El Salvador's own MS-13 as well as those from the dangerous Venezuelan group Tren de Aragua. In return, the U.S. government pays El Salvador $20,000 a year per inmate to house, feed, and most importantly guard them. This first batch of deportees alone will bring in well over $5 million dollars a year for El Salvador, a sum that Bukele is hoping will increase significantly-and well he might, as El Salvador's prison system is a serious expense for the country, which is both small and far from wealthy. Currently, the government spends over $200 million annually to maintain CECOT and the rest of El Salvador's penitentiaries, over 3 percent of the national budget. The addition of American prisoners, and the American dollars that come with them, serve as a way to subsidize the prison system and reduce its significant drain on the country's resources, freeing up more of the budget for investment and development. Apparently, the ‘deal’ between the #Trump admin and President Bukele of El Salvador is to take into its CECOT mega prison people that the Trump admin says are violent, dangerous gang members (see reference in next post).

Well, Abrego Garcia was sent to that prison but released (supposedly to another El Salvador prison), per his report when speaking with Sen. Van Hollen (see the article below).
