Some more nuggets of good news for #Warwickshire, now full #LocalElections2025 results are in:
1. Green councillors up from 3 to 7; Lib Dems up from 5 to 14.
2. While Reform got 23 new cllrs, Tories lost 33. Together, they're down 1.
3. WCC is now NOC (though Cons+RUK together hold majority).

Reform UK: 23 (+23)
Liberal Democrats: 14 (+9)
Conservative: 9 (-33)
Green Party: 7 (+4)
Labour: 3 (-3)
Localist: 1 (=)
Conservative LOSE to No Overall Control.

The long-awaited Nuneaton to Coventry “super cycleway” may take a small step forward later this week with a tiny part of the route being put to the Portfolio Holder for Transport for approval. This features as part of a broader programme of road improvements and covers the south-most section through Exhall – only about 0.55km (0.35mi) and with serious compromises in quality.
