This beautiful little cat on the ledge at the bottom of this image is one of a pair created by Hugh Pritchard in 1988 to decorate a modern tenement on Woodlands Road in Glasgow. I really wish more developers would include such whimsical details in their projects.
I love this sculpture on the Church of Saint Jude's Congregation on Woodlands Road in Glasgow. Designed by John Burnet Senior, it was built in 1874. About half life-size, it's not a typical subject for an ecclesiastical decoration.

Rank Bajin sitting in the back of El Fideldo behind Lobey Dosser on a statue on Woodlands Road in Glasgow celebrating the life and work of the artist William 'Bud' Neill. Erected in 1992, it was created by Tony Morrow and Nick Gillan and was funded by public donations.
The former Willowbank Primary School in the Woodlands area of Glasgow. Built in 1900, it was designed in a Classical style by Alexander Petrie. The building itself is wonderfully symmetrical, but it's always puzzled me why the gateposts are off-centre as that creates a rather jarring effect (or maybe that's just me!).

Blonde sandstone Victorian tenements lining Willowbank Crescent in the Woodlands area of Glasgow.
A lovely unnamed creek, meandering through a coastal temperate #rainforest in the Highlands area of #Wsanec territory. Very few old growth left in this forest; mostly 3rd growth & younger with a few 2nd growth trees mixed in. This is a great area to look for mushrooms.
