So I stood there at the side of the road, while waiting for the people at U-Haul to figure out how to rescue my beached whale and the household full of stuff it contained. Eventually a huge #wrecker turned up, the kind that is as long as a semi with a full-sized trailer, picked up the front end of the U-Haul, and hauled it into town, to my house, where we would need to unload.
My house, in a neighbourhood from the 1910s, with tiny houses, narrow lots, and narrow streets. And full props to the driver, he parallel-parked-by-proxy that U-Haul in a space directly in front of my house that was barely big enough for it.
Got it unloaded, then the wrecker came back and hauled it away.
Takeaways:
1. Real professional #drivers are amazing at what they do.
2. U-Haul #trucks and #equipment are horribly maintained, because the incentives work against the franchisees doing anything but renting them out and hoping it's a one-way rental so they never see it again. Be prepared to deal with problems. Do a *serious* walk-around #inspection for #safety issues before you even think about taking it on the highway.
3. Not illustrated in this story, but U-Haul reservations ... aren't. They might put your name on a "list" when you ask for one, but whoever shows up first gets the truck. You can walk in with a "#reservation" and they'll just say "Nope, don't have any trucks left" or give you something completely not what you "reserved".

El spin-off "The Bad Batch" es una continuación de la serie "The Clone Wars" donde se introduce el pelotón Clone Force 99, compuesto por clones defectuosos. Teniendo mucha importancia la clon femenina llamada Omega, llena de secretos y recursos.
La serie muestra la transición de las Guerras Clon a la época del Imperio Galáctico, con los clones defectuosos algunos de ellos convirtiéndose en fugitivos. Se explora cómo el Imperio se deshace del Ejército Clon y la humanidad de los clones ya que son seres vivos, no objetos de usar y tirar.
Recomiendo mucho la serie a la gente que le encantó la serie animada de The Clone Wars al ser una continuación directa de esta.

Ich habe gestern die letzte Folge von #TheBadBatch geschaut. Die Serie war echt genial, schade das sie nun vorbei ist. #Omega mochte ich ja gar nicht am Anfang, der Charakter hat sich aber echt gut entwickelt. Gerade die Epilog Szene war irgendwie zu erwarten. Bin jetzt mal gespannt wie es in andern Serien mit dem Charakter weiter geht. Schade das wir #Wrecker, #Crosshair und #Hunter wohl nicht mehr sehen werden. #starwars #disneyplus

Huffers are a sort of local river guide. They help boats travel downriver safely and swiftly. At least Anni does. The allegations that she associates with a #Wrecker and #Smuggler? You shouldn't read too much into that.

Out of all the things I have watched recently, I have to say that Bad Batch seems to be one of the most underrated programs. I was hoping to see a Lula/Tooka doll at Star wars celebration but no luck...maybe comic con will come through.
Bring on the Wrecker cosplayers and some love for Gonky :)
Wrecker and Crosshair
The second season of The Bad Batch is already off to a great start.
The characters have developed and are getting more and more of a direction.
And Crosshair is allowed to remain a villain! So far at least. I don't want a redemption arc for him. He needs to be the doubting, volatile, angry antagonist!
