Grade überarbeitet der Verlag für die Neuauflage einfach alles an meinem Buch -die Schrift, die Gliederung, die Größe- und leider auch das Coverfoto. Natürlich bin ich einverstanden, denn ich möchte ja keinesfalls im Weg stehen. Aber zum Foto hab ich eine ganz spezielle Verbindung. Es ist meine eigene Johannes-Hammig-Flöte, durch Zufall von meinem Mann so großartig abgelichtet. Seit einigen Jahren spiele ich sie nur noch selten, denn sie ist unterdessen ein Oldtimer.

Gestern waren wir auf der Rax und es war super surreal in den tiefhängenden Wolken. Erfreulicherweise keine Menschen und eine Soundkulisse, die ich so noch nie gehört habe. Der Wind trieb Nebelschwaden über die Brüstung weg in die Tiefe und die Stille wurde nur unterbrochen vom Knacken und Knistern von Bäumen, die Feuchtigkeit aus der Luft ziehen und Wasser auf Kalkstein. In den #PhantastikPrompts beschreibe ich immer wieder, was in meinem unfertigen Roman so alles geschieht. Schön wäre nur, wenn ich dann endlich mal weiterkommen würde, damit er auch irgendwann einmal fertig wird. Doch die Unbill des Alltags frisst Zeit, Motivation und Phantasie gnadenlos auf.

Ein Trost zumindest bleibt: Es kann nur besser werden.

These are from 2022, the last time I did a thorough cleaning and re-organizing. Desk is straight now. Better light fixture installed.

I like to surround myself with SF so Eaglemoss starships are everywhere. I love data so have a dashboard I can see of writing and writing business stats.
