I'm sorry to report that erstwhile Brooklyn dumpster baby #Yoyo, one of the #CatsOfMastodon, passed away today. His cat dad found him in his basket this evening upon coming home from work; he'd been fine the morning. He was 9-1/2 years old, more or less. The vet thought it might have been heart trouble.

Found some abandoned swag from god knows what conference at the office the other day, and one of the trinkets was a cheap (but functional) #yoyo. I have not touched a yoyo since I was probably 8 or 9, but damn if all that muscle memory didn't immediately kick in and I threw an around-the-world like it was nothing.

So needless to say, a non-crappy yoyo is in the mail.
