Any good meditation apps that are very low price? I can't afford Headspace at the moment (which I used and loved once upon a time). I need to calm my brain, and get my concentration back. I also can't do it on my own.... yet. That will come back.
@Da_Gut balance is free for a year and I have been using Calm for years.
@Alien_Sunset @Da_Gut in addition to the standard meditations I like the movement ones and the bedtime stories (LeVar Burton, Sam Huegan, etc)
@Da_Gut I did have one called Smiling Mind (I think) that am pretty sure was free.
@Da_Gut Youtube has some guided meditation videos.
@Da_Gut @quokka1 Plum Village is very good, it’s free. No subscription. https://plumvillage.app/about-the-plum-village-app/
@crystalentity @Da_Gut @quokka1 oh, wonderful, thanks! I could use more Thich Nhat Hanh in my life
@Da_Gut I used HealthyMinds for a hot minute & should probably get back to it. Nicely adjustable-length meditations, if a bit gamified for my taste. All free.

@Da_Gut UCLA Mindful is free. Not a lot of bells and whistles, but the person narrating the guided meditations has an incredibly soothing voice.
@Da_Gut look for Jeff Warren on Substack. Also the Insight Timer app provides a lot for free.
Healthy Minds, available for free on iOS and Android
@Da_Gut tapping solution is pretty good
@Da_Gut
It's not an app, but free mindfulness resources, so maybe this fits the bill:

I used to use and really like Insight Timer. Haven't used it in a long time, but back when I did, they had tons of free guided meditations I liked, and I like the timer function too.
