Entwife Experience (Brina)

Just finished reading Mausritter by @losing cover to cover again for my 1st time running it tomorrow & I am truly blown away by how perfect a TTRPG/ rulebook it is! The balance of theme, mechanics, detail of info & efficiency, not to mention the beautify & clean artwork/ layout is astounding! I'm genuinely lost for words. I just can't get over the depth of flavour/ GM options/ inspiration presented so effectively/ efficiently.

I can absolutely see myself returning to this book for inspiration & playing a heck of a lot of this awesome game, especially with the phenomenal Bernpyle & other goodies from @ManaRampMatt (manarampmatt.itch.io/) & many others with the great 3rd Party License (mausritter.com/third-party-lic), which is something I absolutely will have to get in on!

I'm just blown away and even more excited than before to dive into some mousey adventures!

@SebrinaCalkins @losing Of all the Into the Odd-derived games, Mausritter has the most tools and procedures. It's a great game for many reasons, but it's also a complete game, one whose rules you can take and use elsewhere also.

(I'll just note that for playing with newbies, the ability to use the actual building you're playing in as an adventure site is a real plus. They can imagine their mouse sneaking around in a way that's harder with people vs. dragons or goblins.)

@raphaelkaitz It's seriously impressive. I just love the depth of flavour and amount provided so efficiently, either as just to run straight from the book or as a templatem inspiration for further supplements and adventures. Feeling very inspired.

Also, thank you for the reminder I still haven't crack open Into the Odd sexy edition yet.

@SebrinaCalkins When you do crack open Into the Odd, make sure to check out the adventure in the back, The Iron Coral. Like the adventure in the Mork Borg book, it's a master class in how to lay out dungeon descriptions, one you can use for your own.

@raphaelkaitz Wonderful! I will remember that. Thank you. I'm still feeling from the amount of wild and fascinating backgrounds in Electric Bastionland too. Severe ADHD, CFS/ Fibromyalgia, and a want to make stuff for all the things makes planning tricky lol

@SebrinaCalkins Oh, I mean even if you just want to write down a small dungeon for playing with friends, that way of noting what's in the room and what leads out of the room is helpful.
